CREW Network Foundation
CREW Network Foundation is the only organization dedicating its resources solely towards transforming the commercial real estate industry by advancing women globally. CREW Foundation is committed to bringing more women into commercial real estate with programs that educate women and girls about the career opportunities available to them. Foundation donations are used for scholarships for members, including Charleston’s very own Chloe Heiligenstein, industry research and career outreach.
Member Qualifications:
*Prior to submission of your membership application and in order to be considered for membership, you must attend at least one (1) CREW Charleston, Inc. luncheon or networking event.*
REGULAR ANNUAL RATE - $305 (after July 1st $195)
To qualify for Regular Membership, an applicant must (a) be employed in a *qualified field of commercial real estate (*click here to see list) at the time of submitting his/her application for membership for 5+ years, (b) have primary responsibility to the client and either provide a service or a product that can stand alone in a real estate transaction, or serve in a decision-making capacity in real estate transactions, (c) must spend at least 75% of their professional time in some aspect of the commercial real estate industry, (d) derive a major source of his/her income from one or more qualified fields of commercial real estate, and (e) submit a properly completed application for membership which is approved by the Board of Directors and/or the Membership Committee.
ASSOCIATE ANNUAL RATE - $305 (after July 1st $195)
Qualifications are the same as a Regular member, however the applicant will have less than 5 years of experience in*qualified field of commercial real estate (*click here to see list) at the time of submitting his/her application for membership.
AFFILIATE ANNUAL RATE - $305 (after July 1st $195)
To qualify for an Affiliate Membership, an applicant must (a) have his/her primary professional responsibilities relate to, benefit or support commercial real estate, or whose primary responsibility is selling a physical product related to commercial real estate, (b) must spend at least 75% of their professional time in some aspect of the commercial real estate industry, (c) have had a minimum of five (5) years of full time experience in such position during the immediately preceding five (5) years, (d) whose admission to the corporation would further the purposes of the corporation and benefit its members and (e) submit a properly completed application for membership, including a mandatory sponsorship fee, which is approved by the Board of Directors.
Professions that relate to, benefit or support commercial real estate include but not limited to office furniture, roofing, flooring, landscaping and painting. An Affiliate Member in good standing shall have all the rights and privileges of a Regular Member including the right to vote and hold office. The number of Affiliate Members in any specific profession, as determined by the Board of Directors, shall be limited to two (2) individuals and Affiliate companies shall have a maximum of 2 members.
RETIRED - $165
To qualify for Retired Membership, an individual must (a) be retired from a qualifying field of commercial real estate, (b) not be employed in any other field, and (c) have met the qualifications for either Full Membership or Associate Membership prior to his/her retirement from commercial real estate. A Retired Member shall have all the rights and privileges of a Full Member, subject to the right to vote and hold office.
STUDENT - Graduate - $210 (after July 1st $120) | STUDENT - Undergraduate - $165 (after July 1st $105)
To qualify for Student Membership, an applicant must be enrolled (a) full time at an accredited university (b) as an undergraduate or graduate student (c) with the majority of his/her classes focused in a qualified field of commercial real estate.
CIVIC - $165 (after July 1st $105)
To qualify for Civic Membership, an applicant must work in a commercial real estate field in local or regional government or other public agencies, such as redevelopment or economic development agencies, and not-for-profit organizations, colleges, etc.
CREW Charleston is a chapter of CREW Network. CREW Network membership expires annually on Dec. 31. Requisite dues are assessed annually and are non-transferrable between individuals and are non-refundable. Payments to CREW Network and its chapters for membership dues, event registrations, sponsorship, and other services are not deductible as charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes, but may be deductible as a business expense. Contributions made to CREW Network Foundation [tax ID:48-1201724] may be tax deductible as charitable contributions. Please consult your tax advisor.
Please note there is a $20 application fee for Professional Members and a $10 application fee for Student Members.
